Who’s Who

By now, you’re probably wondering about the people who went through all this effort. We are actually rather normal, except that we have four fingers. Just kidding.

We are all Star Wars fans, and movie fans in general. Not that we necessarily like the same movies. Take Titanic, for example—we are divided between the hopeless romantics and those who want Kate and Leo to sink to the bottom of the ocean. Nevertheless, we’ve been friends throughout high school.

Macbeth

Bienvenido C.

Bienvenido C. has been into acting and producing ever since he was twelve. In sixth grade, he participated in a choral and operatic performance group, acting and performing in Christmas concerts and operas such as Oliver! and Amahl. His interest in producing and directing came to the forefront when he made the short video Mission: Impossible—Tom and Huck Rescue Jim during his sophomore year. A combination of the recent hit movie and Mark Twain’s classic novel, Mission: Impossible became wildly popular in the hallways of Glen Ridge High School. Bienvenido C. followed it with several videos and documentaries, including sports highlight videos that were unanimously well received. He and Don Fitz-Roy also helped create MusicNet: The Online Guide to Music Education, winner of a $15,000 scholarship in the Arts & Literature category of the 1996 ThinkQuest Internet Competition. He is now a freshman at Penn State University.

Macduff

Don Fitz-Roy

As the Luke Skywalker character of Macbeth, Don did his best to “whine and look stubborn.” Don is currently at Brown University, majoring in Computer Science and Film Theory. In high school he was involved in Model United Nations and Chorus and was a member of the National Honor Society. Along with Bienvenido C. and Dana S., Don was a creator of the award-winning MusicNet: An Online Guide to Music Education. In addition to an avid interest in directing and producing for the cinema, Don has written short stories and two feature-length screenplays. He is also an avid soundtrack collector and enjoys reading, surfing the ’net, and referring to himself in the third person.
